JUREK PRZEŹDZIECKI aka PRAECOX

Jurek Przeździecki is a Warsaw-based electronic music producer whose career spans more than two decades. Raised in the 1990s, his sound was shaped by new-beat and post-industrial influences such as SPK and Psychic TV, elements that continue to inform his uncompromising approach to electronic music.
Moving fluidly beyond genre boundaries, Przeździecki has developed a distinct and refined sonic language, defined by precision, depth, and a strong attention to production detail.
Under his Praecox alias, he played a pivotal role in reshaping the psy-trance scene of the 1990s by introducing industrial textures and metal influences. As a co-founder of the legendary group Bigwigs, he toured extensively worldwide. The project is widely recognized as a groundbreaking force that challenged conventions and left a lasting mark on the genre’s history.
He is the first Polish artist to have a track featured in Depeche Mode’s world tour. His discography includes seven albums, numerous singles and vinyl releases, as well as collaborations with Jacek Sienkiewicz and Tumult Hands. Open to experimentation, he frequently works across disciplines, including contemporary music, and has performed at the Warsaw Autumn Festival and the Szczecin Philharmonic.
