One Brother Is Enough

BPitch welcomes Perfo’s debut EP ‘One Brother is enough’, a colourful and emotionally charged record that moves between euphoria, introspection and playful experimentation, out on 12 November.

Originally from the South of France and now based in Berlin, Thibaud Guillemin aka Perfo has steadily carved out his own space within the city’s electronic scene. His music draws from a wide constellation of influences, combining a strong sense of groove with curiosity, emotion and a playful approach to sound. Across One Brother Is Enough, Perfo builds a world that feels both deeply personal and slightly otherworldly – moving between physical dancefloor energy and more dreamlike, inward spaces.
EP opener ‘Flying Nimbus’ lifts off into a world of weightlessness and euphoria. Inspired by Goku’s flying cloud and the childhood idea of suddenly being able to leave everything behind, the track captures the feeling of weightlessness and freedom, while also reflecting on how difficult it can be to truly let go. On ‘Velvet’, soft textures meet dissonant elements and a restrained rhythmic pulse, creating something inviting yet slightly unfamiliar. The track finds a balance between warmth and unease, allowing its atmosphere to slowly unfold without ever settling into something completely predictable. ‘One Brother Is Enough’, its most personal and nostalgic moment. A melodic tribute to Perfo’s brother, the track reflects their shared history of discovering music and growing alongside each other. Turning memory into sound, it carries an intimate and affectionate quality – like a distant recollection resurfacing in a dream – while retaining the playful spirit that runs throughout the record. Closing the EP, ‘Tempest’ ventures into darker territory. Noise, abstract patterns and harder dancefloor rhythms evoke the feeling of freedom caught inside a storm, creating an intense and unpredictable finale.
Across four tracks, One Brother Is Enough introduces Perfo’s distinctive world – one where darker club energy, euphoria, emotion and experimentation constantly meet, creating a record made for the dancefloor as much as for moments of introspection.
